Functions

The main responsibility of this division is to collect preliminary information about individuals who are referred for rehabilitation by court orders due to drug dependence, and to monitor, review, and provide necessary assistance to those who have completed treatment and rehabilitation and are reintegrated into society.

To prevent rehabilitated individuals from relapsing into drug use.
To strengthen family structures by raising awareness of the importance of the family institution.
To assist rehabilitated individuals in finding suitable employment opportunities.
To provide self-employment tool kits to rehabilitated persons who are engaged in or willing to engage in self-employment activities.
To monitor their progress through regular follow-up activities.

To achieve the above objectives, 13 Regional Offices for Economic, Social, and Welfare Coordination of Rehabilitated Persons have been established across all districts of the island. These offices operate under the supervision of the Post-Rehabilitation Support Division.

To conduct preliminary assessments during the initial phase of the rehabilitation process.
To carry out follow-up evaluations after rehabilitation and reintegration into society.
To organize awareness programs on drug prevention.
To provide self-employment tool kits to rehabilitated individuals engaged in or willing to engage in self-employment to uplift their livelihood.
To assist rehabilitated individuals in finding suitable employment in cases where they are unemployed.
To provide counseling services to rehabilitated individuals and their family members.
