Commencement of duties in the New Year 2025

The duties of the Bureau of Rehabilitation began on 1st January 2025, after hoisting the national flag by Major General Darshana Hettiarrachchi (Rtd), the Commissioner General of Rehabilitation, symbolizing the initiation of the New Year’s duties. Thereafter, two-minute silence was observed in honor of those who sacrificed their lives for the Motherland.
Subsequently, entire staff of the Bureau of Rehabilitation took oath for the “Clean Sri Lanka pledge” and witnessed the “Clean Sri Lanka” National ceremony held at the Presidential Secretariat. A tea party was also organized for the staff at the auditorium of Bureau of Rehabilitation and Major General Darshana Hettiarrachchi (Rtd), Commissioner General of Rehabilitation extended New Year greetings to the staff.
